Beekeeping |
|
You'll
get a buzz out of this on your holiday!
We have been beekeeping for three years and we have
approximately 300 commercial hives which
produce in excess of 10 tonne of honey.
The bees are also used to pollinate
kiwifruit, avocados, and apples. It has
turned into a family affair as our two
teenage boys have taken it on with great
enthusiasm accompanying Mark on every
possible outing. So come along and suit
up and venture into the working lives of
a humming beehive.

Debra Ellis - 07/11/2002
Brilliant, my mother and I stayed in the Villa
Moderna and were warm, cosy and well fed. A
guided tour of the kiwi farm was fascinating.
Host were very attentive and we wanted for
nothing, good conversation and plenty of fresh
fruit!More
